Venue: Hodge House, St Mary Street, Cardiff, CF10 1DY
NIPA is pleased to invite you to a special event in Cardiff exploring the Infrastructure (Wales) Act and what it means for the future of major projects across Wales.
We are delighted to welcome Owen Struthers from the Welsh Government, who will open the evening with an overview of the Act and its importance to delivering new infrastructure in Wales. His remarks will be followed by a panel discussion chaired by Cllr Bethan Proctor (chair of the environment committee at Cardiff Council), also featuring:
- Ben Lewis-Hayes – Bute Energy
- Cathryn Tracey – Burges Salmon
- Greg Phillimore – Camargue
- Peta Donkin – Arcadis
- Laura Williams – Green GEN Cymru
The panel will discuss the challenges and opportunities of putting the new legislation into practice, offering insights from across government, consultancy, and industry.
Following the discussion, guests are invited to stay for networking, where light bites and refreshments will be served. We are pleased to be returning to Cardiff with this event being a key part of NIPA’s commitment to share best practice across all regions.
This event is open to NIPA members who are also welcome to bring one guest. Spaces are limited and we expect the event to be popular, so please register soon to avoid disappointment. To ensure a fair spread of attendees, we’re setting a limit of two attendees from the same organisation (not including your guests), then a waiting list will operate. We hope you understand.
Our special thanks to Bute Energy for generously hosting this event.
