Infrastructure Planning Consultation

NIPA Members Only

On 1 September, the government launched their eagerly awaited Consultation on streamlining infrastructure planning - GOV.UK, setting out their proposals to support the application process for development consent under the Planning Act 2008.

We recognise how important this consultation is and are keen to ensure that NIPA members’ views are fully represented to MHCLG by the deadline of 27th October. We are therefore seeking your thoughts, commentary, and collaboration in forming our consultation response.

This will take several forms, so that we can capture feedback from our broad range of professions who form the NIPA membership.

We will be scheduling collaborative engagement sessions / roundtables, and a NIPA Matters session, to discuss various elements of the consultation proposals. And we are also seeking members to help with the drafting of the response.
