NIPA Early Years Practitioner (EYP) Mentoring Lounge (Birmingham)

We are delighted to announce that, following the success of the first NIPA EYPs mentoring lounges, NIPA is planning a fresh series of events for 2026 and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
Our next mentoring lounge will be held in Birmingham on Thursday 26th March.
If you have not attended one before, a mentoring lounge is a relaxed informal gathering that provides the opportunity for NIPA EYPs to have a casual and informal discussion in small groups on themes relating to career development, each guided by one of our mentors.
Option 1 – Calling all mentors!
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to act as mentors at this event. If you have experience and insight to share with the next generation of professionals, we would be thrilled to have you on board. We’re seeking mentors from a breadth of disciplines and organisations to offer a wide range of opportunities for mentees to engage.
Option 2 – Mentees, save your spot!
Whether you are looking for guidance on your career path, want to explore a particular area of professional development or simply fancy an engaging conversation, this event is for you. When you register you will have the opportunity to suggest any specific themes or topics you would like covered in the discussions.

Places on the event will initially be prioritised for NIPA EYPs on a first sign-up basis but will be limited initially to no more than two from any one organisation. A waiting list will also be set up to maximise opportunities for participation.
